Welcome. I’m Jesse Rivas, a real estate agent based right here in Lodi, California.

Before I became an agent, I was a buyer six times over. I’ve purchased and sold homes throughout California, sat across from lenders, negotiated offers, walked through inspections, and signed more closing documents than I can count. Every single experience taught me something. And somewhere along the way, I realized that most buyers and sellers don’t have someone in their corner who actually gets it, who’s been through the process personally and can speak to it honestly.

That’s why I started this blog.

This is not a place for industry buzzwords or vague encouragement. This is where I break down the real estate process in plain language, credit scores, pre-approvals, new construction, what to expect when you sell, how to negotiate, and everything in between. I cover the Lodi market and the broader Central Valley, and I reach out to friends and clients in Contra Costa County and the Bay Area who are considering a move east.

I specialize in helping first-time buyers, sellers who want a straight answer, and anyone considering new construction, a process I believe strongly in and know inside and out.
